New Atlanta Nightclub is seeking motivated employees to staff Atlanta’s newest hot spot. We are looking for a diverse staff that is not gender or ethnicity / race specific for each of the following position descriptions listed below.

Job Openings / Job Description

Bartenders –

Bartenders prepare standard mixed drinks and pour wine and beer. They also prepare mixed drinks to match customers’ specific orders. They must be able to prepare drinks quickly, accurately, and without waste. In addition to serving drinks, bartenders collect payment and operate the POS registers. They also clean up after customers and clean their work area. They serve food to customers seated at the bar. Bartenders check identification of customers. Bartenders must be sure customers meet age requirements for the purchase of alcohol and tobacco products. An additional responsibility is to make sure customers do not drink too much alcohol. Bartenders are responsible for ordering and maintaining liquor and bar supplies. Bartenders wash the glassware and utensils after each use.

Bar Backs-

A bar back works as a bartender’s apprentice or assistant. a bar back is responsible for making sure that the bar is fully stocked and prepared for a night’s service and that a bartender has everything he or she may need to mix drinks all night long. A bar back is responsible for basic prep work behind the bar, including such tasks as refilling ice bins, restocking liquor, replacing kegs, cutting garnishes, and clearing away and washing empty glasses.

Cocktail Waitresses-(*Must have high volume bottle service experience)

Serves beverages to patrons seated at tables in nightclub. Operates a POS system to calculate bill and accepts payment from customers. May take orders for and serve light meals and hors d’oeuvres. Also clean up after customers and clean their assigned tables and work area. An additional responsibility is to make sure customers do not drink too much alcohol. Assist in promoting nightly events/promotions at the nightclub to repeat customers, family, members, and friends.

Busser-

Busser in a nightclub clears and cleans tables and sets up tables for the next customers.

Security Officers-

A nightclub security guard is responsible for the safety and security of customers at a venue. Patrols the nightclub to preserve order among patrons and protect the property. Security may mingle with customers to prevent and detect improper activities. Security is responsible for defusing altercations before they become uncontrollable. Security has the authority to tactfully evict patrons from the premises if they are behaving in a disorderly way. Security may do so using force, if necessary. Security serves as liaison between the nightclub and local law enforcement officers. Security also confers nightly with the manager or the owner of the venue, reporting any incidents or accidents that may have occurred in or near the facility.
